• 1. Abstract submission opens on - to be announced.
• 2. Prior registernow to the conference is absolutely required.
• 3. Abstracts are to be submitted for the following categories - Award Paper, Free Paper, E-Poster, Speaking Images, Young Dermatologist forum - YUVADERMA.
• 4. Award papers are open only for post graduates. The presenters should be PLMs of IADVL.
• 5. Award paper - 1 (original study & case series) & Award paper - 2 (single case report) shall be considered.
• 6. Free papers and E-posters are open to all delegates.
• 7. Presenting author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for consideration (maximum one for award paper).
• 8. The scientific committee reserves the discretion to change the category of award/free paper to e-poster.
• 9. Decision of abstract evaluation will be communicated by e-mail to the submitting (presenting) author.

Guidelines for Preparing Abstracts

• 1. Word limit of the abstract is 250 words. (Excluding title).
• 2. Abstract should be submitted in PDF format.
• 3. Abstract PDF should include identifying details like Name, Mobile Number and Email-Id.
• 4. Do not include any identifying features such as collaborators, hospitals, medical colleges, clinics or places in the abstract.
• 5. The abstract font should be Times New Roman, size 12. The text line spacing should be '1.5 lines spaced'
• 6. Title should be written using 'Sentence case' and should be brief and self-explanatory
• 7. Avoid abbreviations in the title.
• 8. Refrain from using graphs, figures, tables or references in the abstract
• 9. Original Studies : Introduction - Purpose of Study/Objectives - Methodology - Findings/Results - Conclusion
• 10. Case Reports : Introduction - Case description - Conclusion.
• 11. Case Series : Introduction - Case description - Findings/Results - Conclusion.
• 12. E-Poster : Introduction - Case Description - Conclusion.
• 13. Speaking Image Session : Introduction - Brief case description with clinical findings - Conclusion.

Guidelines for PPT

For Award Paper/Free Paper

• 1. The scientific committee will select the speakers' order.
• 2. Slides should not exceed 16 ( Including title and References slides). Each slide should not exceed 8 lines.
• 3. The font should be Times New Roman, Heading font size 24, Text size 12.
• 4. Avoid Abbreviations
• 5. Title Slide: Mention the title and the name of the presenting author.
• 6. Any conflicts of interest should be mentioned.
• 7. Do not include any identifying features such as collaborators, hospitals, medical colleges, clinics or places .
• 8. The presentation time limit is 6 minutes
• 9. Do not disclose the identity of the patients in the images used.

For E-Poster Session

• 1. The poster abstract structure should include an Introduction , case description and conclusion.
• 2. Mention of affiliation or co-authors is permissible, but the conflict of interest and source of sponsorship must be mentioned.
• 3. Template for E-Poster will be sent after selection.
• 4. Do not disclose the identity of the patients in the images used. (use opaque coloured boxes to cover the identifying features)..

For Speaking Image Session

• 1. Presenting a collection of image clues helping to reach a provisional diagnosis ( in a rare cases/ syndromes)
• 2. It is a 6-minute session and Number of slides : 10-20
• 3. The font should be Times New Roman, Heading font size 24, Text size 12.

Presentation Guidelines Young Dermatologist Forum- YUVADERMA

• 1. The scientific committee will select the speakers' order.
• 2. Slides should not exceed 30 ( Including title and References slides).
• 3. The presentation time limit is 8 minutes.
• 4. The font should be Times New Roman, Heading font size 24, Text size 12.
• 5. Title Slide: Mention the title and the name of the presenting author.
• 6. Any conflicts of interest should be mentioned.
• 7. Do not disclose the identity of the patients in the images used. (use opaque coloured boxes to cover the identifying features).
• 8. Only Post MD Members under 35 years of age are eligible.
