  • * Free paper.
  • * Poster.

Abstract preparation instructions

  • 1.All abstracts must be submitted in English- Times New Roman, with a font size of 12 and double spacing.
  • 2.To ensure blinded review-no identifying features such as names of hospitals, medical colleges, clinics or places may be listed in the title or text of the abstract.
  • 3.Do not include the names of authors and their affiliations in the abstract body.
  • 4.There will be provision of entering author details and their affiliation(s) in the submission platform separately.
  • 5.The material in the abstract must be original and not previously published.
  • 6.The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study.
  • 7.Abbreviations must not be used in the title.
  • 8.The size of the abstract is limited to 300 words (excluding title, authors, their affiliations etc.).
  • 9.The brand names or name of the manufacturers for any drug or equipment is strictly prohibited. Use generic name(s).
  • 10.No references, graphs, figures or tables are needed with abstract submission.
  • 11.Check spelling and grammar carefully. The abstract text will not be edited and will be reproduced in the submitted form in the e-abstract book.
  • 12.Conflict of interest: Declaration of conflict of interest is mandatory.

Structure your abstract using the following subheadings:

For Original Research Category:

  • - Background
  • - Objective/s
  • - Patients/ materials and methods
  • - Results
  • - Limitations
  • - Conclusion

For Case Report Category :

  • - A single case, fully worked up with novelty only will be considered under this category.
  • - Case series are not considered under this section.
  • - Introduction
  • - Description of the case
  • - Discussion
  • - Conclusion.
  • - Mention why the case is unique and worth presenting.

  • - Abstract received by e- mail will not be evaluated. Abstract submission is only ONLINE through website at [AP Cuticon 2024]
  • - A presenting author must submit the abstract himself/ herself.
  • - Decision of abstract evaluation will be communicated by e-mail to the submitting (presenting) author by 10th November 2024.
  • - Prior registration to conference is mandatory to submit abstract.
  • - Residents should submit bonafide certificate from Head of the department.
  • - Presenting author can submit only TWO abstracts.
  • - Guidelines for presentation papers/posters will be provided along with acceptance letter.

*Note: Award papers are for Post-graduates only !
